Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer, and songwriter. The most famous of her role can be Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, an American comedy show. However, she considers herself mostly as a musician. According her, is first thing she enjoys. She began playing with the instrument at the age of nine. As she grew to 12 old, music was taken seriously enough to warrant professional training. In 2013, she took on songwriting and produced her first album. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia is of Hispanic origins, but was born in the USA. While she grew up with exclusively English and never lived in Mexico she is very satisfied with her Hispanic heritage. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and writing songs, she strives to preserve the tradition. "Hasta Verte," a track that she wrote in Spanish is a good example. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she as well as three female singers were grouped with three other singers for the last auditions in "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated during the 5th week in the Live program.
