Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best recognized in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in during her stage debut. Then, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner became big in the National Theatre. In 1957, she also made her debut album called It's time for Tina. Louise debuted on the screen in Hollywood as God's Little Acre, a film that was released in the year 1958. She was Griselda who was a character from the film. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. The actress joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work across Broadway TV and Hollywood, portraying more somber roles as opposed to her perception of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she has also become a renowned director of popular television series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August in 1965. The family moved to Toronto to spend her youth. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and has lived there for the last ten years.
