Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American singer, actress and music producer. Her family was home-schooled by her mom in the USA. Raised with racial taunts and made to feel unwanted. After entering a ninth-grade school audition in which she was praised for her singing as she built confidence. However her greatest breakthrough came when she played the character of The Lady of The Lake in the first Broadway performance of Spamalot garnering not only an award called the Tony Award for her performance but also great critical acclaim. The recognition grew even more when she appeared in Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. She is also a known singer and has released an extended play. In addition, she is an LGBT activist.
